What Makes HydraFacial So Effective?

April 15, 2022 by A Younger You

HydraFacial

HydraFacials are currently the most popular in-office facial treatment globally, with millions of HydraFacial procedures performed each year. With everyone from your favorite celebrity to your coworkers experiencing the benefits of HydraFacial, it’s natural that you may want to know more about what this unique facial has to offer.

A Younger You Medical Spa in Burlington and Brookfield wants you to rediscover your natural beauty. We invest in the latest and most advanced skin rejuvenation procedures to ensure you have the best options to restore your skin, regardless of your concerns.

HydraFacials reform your skin beautifully in just one procedure. So it’s easy to see why fans keep coming back for more. Whether your skin shows signs of aging, suffers from acne, or experiences any other issue, HydraFacials provide a solution for your skincare needs.

What Is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is one of the most potent non-invasive skin treatments available. The procedure rejuvenates the skin by using a patented technology to clean, extract, and hydrate your skin in as little as 30 minutes.

The HydraFacial procedure uses the brand’s unique Vortex-Fusion system to deeply cleanse the skin while simultaneously infusing healthy serums and moisturizers, revealing a refreshing, younger look.

Most HydraFacial benefits result from the procedure’s multi-step process that addresses several skin concerns at once.

First, our skilled aestheticians use the wand attached to the HydraFacial machine to create a swirling “vortex” effect. This effect pulls impurities upward while pushing serums into the skin simultaneously.

The results are impressive. Since HydraFacial is both gentle and effective, patients can immediately expect noticeable skin tone and texture improvements.

How Is HydraFacial So Effective?

HydraFacial’s effectiveness lies in its combination of unique technology and powerful ingredients. The treatment uses a variety of acids to achieve results, including glycolic, beta, lactic, salicylic, and hyaluronic.

While this combination may sound more like a chemical peel than a restoring facial, these acids mix into a series of serums, which, through the multi-step process, serve specific functions in restoring the skin.

What Is the HydraFacial’s Multi-Step Process?

Each step of the HydraFacial process builds on the last, resulting in impressive results for all skin types.

Step 1: Cleansing Through Vortex Exfoliation

Step one serves as skin detoxification through exfoliation. Skin naturally sheds dead cells to make way for new ones every few weeks. However, that process doesn’t consistently slough off cells completely, resulting in dull skin, clogged pores, and dry, flaky patches.

In HydraFacial’s first step, the wand clears deeply embedded dirt and oil from the pores using the Activ-4™ Serum, which contains algae extract and lactic acid.

The serum’s lactic acid increases cell turnover and eliminates the buildup of dead skin cells on the top layer of skin. The algae extract works in conjunction with the lactic acid and is full of antioxidants, vitamin B, magnesium, zinc, and detoxifying minerals that help clean out buildup in pores. This combination thoroughly cleans the skin.

Step 2: Debris Loosening Through Vortex-Peel

Step two of the HydraFacial provides exfoliation and debris loosening from deep inside skin cells. Using the Glysal™ serum, a mix of glycolic and salicylic acid, the skin is hydrated and the pores are permeated, loosening debris for easy removal.

Glysal serum’s glycolic acid breaks the bonds between the skin’s outer layer of cells and the subsequent skin layer. It also helps the outer skin barrier retain moisture. The serum’s other main ingredient, salicylic acid, reduces swelling and redness and unplugs blocked skin pores.

Step 3: Pore Cleansing Through Vortex Extraction

Extracting clogged pores is often one of the most exciting and painful parts of any facial. However, the excitement over your potentially clearer skin may outweigh any potential pain. Unfortunately, poorly performed extractions result in long-lasting redness, breakouts, and scarring.

Fortunately, HydraFacial’s Vortex Extraction process doesn’t irritate the skin. Instead, the wand acts as a vacuum, sucking the dirt and debris loosened in step two from your pores while infusing your skin with the Beta-HD™ serum. The Vortex Extraction means no pinching, pushing, or remaining remnants in your pores.

The Beta-HD serum uses honey extract to hydrate and condition the skin. Salicylic acid and willow bark extract exfoliate the skin. Lastly, Tasmanian pepper and spiraea ulmaria flower extracts calm, soothe and protect the skin.

Step 4: Vortex Fusion

The final HydraFacial step takes advantage of the previous steps to reap the most significant benefits for your skin. First, our expert aesthetician saturates the skin with Antiox+™, nourishing and protecting it with antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid in the Vortex Fusion.

At this point in the procedure, the skin is ready to absorb all of the benefits of the serum. The skin is naturally detoxified, and the antioxidants found in the serum’s vitamins A and E, white tea extract, and rosemary leaf extract protect the skin from environmental free radicals. In addition, the serum’s hyaluronic acid deeply moisturizes.

What Are the HydraFacial Benefits?

HydraFacial is gentle enough for most skin types, and it works to treat most common skin concerns, including:

  • Blemishes
  • Pores clogged with blackheads and whiteheads
  • Uneven skin tones
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Oily skin
  • Dry skin
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Skin laxity
  • Enlarged pores

HydraFacial benefits include the ability to customize the treatment for your skin concerns. For example, we can adjust the serum levels to suit your skin’s needs. In addition, the HydraFacial procedure requires no downtime. It just offers smoother, clearer, and younger-looking skin.

Am I a Candidate for HydraFacial?

All skin types can experience HydraFacial benefits. Anyone looking for skin rejuvenation can expect to enjoy results from a HydraFacial.

HydraFacials treat many skin concerns at once, so patients who previously combined monthly facials with chemical peels or microdermabrasion treatments now see similar results in one 30-minute HydraFacial.

A Younger You Medical Spa’s skilled aesthetic team wants you to see how fresh, smooth and soft your skin can be. Call or schedule an online appointment to learn more about HydraFacial treatments to rejuvenate your skin.

Seeking Skin Rejuvenation? Visit A Younger You Clinic in Milwaukee!

January 1, 2018 by A Younger You

Milwaukee

Life takes a toll on your appearance. This is true even if you have worked hard to care for your skin throughout the years. There are a wide variety of things that can cause your skin to look dull, worn out, and just old. Some of these things include sun damage, brown spots on the skin, a rough skin texture, uneven pigmentation, wrinkles, and sagging skin. If you are experiencing any of these things or other skin issues, we invite you to learn about our skin rejuvenation treatments. You can visit A Younger You, a state-of-the-art clinic in the Milwaukee area, to rejuvenate your skin and look and feel your best.

We have a variety of treatments that are designed to rejuvenate your skin. Some of these are completely noninvasive and will improve the condition of your skin over time. Other treatments are invasive and can provide dramatic results if you are dealing with more skin serious skin issues.

One of the most common forms of skin rejuvenation that is used today is a chemical peel. When mild chemical peels are used on a regular basis, they can go a long way in rejuvenating the skin. If you are dealing with acne scarring, pigmentation issues, dull skin, dry skin, fine lines, and a wide variety of other things, you can benefit from regular chemical peels.

Exfoliation is a key part of rejuvenating your skin. The less invasive treatments that we have available for skin exfoliation include chemical peels and microdermabrasion. After you come in for your initial consultation and we examine your skin, we may recommend one of these treatments. These are great options for individuals who would like to improve their skin but do not want to spend a lot of time recovering afterward. After having the above-mentioned treatments, you may not need any recovery time at all. You will likely walk out of our clinic just looking refreshed and more vibrant.

If you are serious about doing something about the condition of your skin, a more involved treatment may be necessary. Some individuals are able to benefit from laser skin rejuvenation. This is also an exfoliation method, but it goes deeper into the layers of the skin. Other treatments include using ultrasound, or heat in order to affect the deeper layers of the skin. When these treatments are used, the skin usually starts to produce more collagen and other beneficial substances. In addition to rejuvenating the skin, these treatments can also tighten the skin.

Our team at A Younger You would be happy to meet with individuals in the Milwaukee area who would like to improve the condition of their skin. We will help you no matter if you are dealing with severe skin issues or if you just want to refresh your appearance and have skin rejuvenation. We know that when you take time to treat your skin, your skin gets healthier. When your skin is healthier, it looks younger and more refreshed. Contact us today to book a consultation for skin rejuvenation at our office in Burlington, Brookfield, or Greenfield!
